Candis Blankson brings decades of high-level Division I experience to Elite Edge Foundation through her work in player development, mentorship, and program culture. A longtime pillar of DePaul Women’s Basketball, Candis has been part of the Blue Demons program for more than two decades—first as a student-athlete and later as a coach and leader within the organization. 

As a player at DePaul (1997–2001), she competed in over 100 games and left her mark in the record books, including ranking among the program’s top three-point shooters during her career.  She transitioned directly into coaching prior to the 2001–02 season, beginning a long tenure dedicated to recruiting, athlete development, and sustaining one of the nation’s most consistent women’s programs.

Within Elite Edge Foundation, Candis contributes a championship-level standard for preparation, accountability, and confidence—especially valuable for supporting the development of female athletes and building programs that last.

While not involved in daily operations, Candis provides strategic guidance that supports program structure, development philosophy, and long-term vision. Her insights help ensure Elite Edge maintains a high standard of excellence across training, teams, and community initiatives.
