Odartey Blankson

Odartey Blankson is the Founder and Head Coach of Elite Edge Foundation, bringing elite Division I and professional experience into youth development with a standards-first philosophy.

After beginning his collegiate career at Marquette University, Odartey transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he became one of the program’s most impactful players. In just two seasons with the Runnin’ Rebels, he appeared in 62 games, started 31, and scored 1,087 total points. He averaged approximately 17.5 points per game during his UNLV tenure and led the team in scoring and rebounding during key stretches of his career.

Known for his physicality, versatility, and competitive edge, he established himself as a consistent offensive presence and high-level competitor in Division I basketball.

Following his collegiate career, Odartey went on to play professionally overseas, gaining international experience that deepened his understanding of preparation, professionalism, and performance standards at the highest levels of the game.

As a founder, his mission is rooted in lived experience. As a father of three sons — including one currently competing at the Division I level — Odartey understands the full athlete journey from youth development to elite competition. He has navigated the recruiting process, performance demands, and the discipline required to succeed beyond high school.

Elite Edge Foundation was built on his belief that environment determines outcomes. Talent matters — but discipline, accountability, structure, and daily standards matter more.

Through intentional training systems, high-performance expectations, and mentorship grounded in experience, Odartey is committed to developing athletes who are skilled competitors, disciplined leaders, and prepared for the next level.
